Mechanically Inclined Field Technician

Leavitt Machinery welcomes a mechanically inclined Field Technician to its Prince George, B.C. team. This hands-on role includes machinery repair and vital customer interactions.
As part of Leavitt Machinery, the Field Technician will report to the Service Manager and tackle a variety of repair tasks. With a focus on diagnosing and servicing heavy equipment, your responsibilities also encompass maintaining effective communication with customers and the Service Dispatcher. Your technical skills will be crucial in ensuring high-quality repairs and service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair diverse material handling machinery
• Maintain consistent communication with Service Dispatcher
• Prepare parts and materials ahead of time for jobs
• Document all work thoroughly, including warranty forms
• Address any safety incidents immediately
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant repair fields
