Responsibilities:
Ensures the safe, efficient, and profitable general management of mechanical operations.Oversees efficient operation through planning and control of daily operations, crew scheduling, and supervising.Follow and monitor work practices, safety related issues to improve quality and performanceLocomotive and FRA inspections.Locomotive repairs including mechanical, air and electrical.Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs on assigned company locomotives, vehicles, and equipment.Freight car repair if necessary.Some travel to other locations required.Performs other duties as assigned.
