Mechanical Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Assist senior engineers in modelling optical systems (e.g., lenses, coating, fiber coupling) using Zemax or OpticStudio.

2.Perform basic ray tracing, aberration analysis, and tolerance studies.

3.Learn to interpret GD&T symbols (e.g., position, concentricity, parallelism) for optical alignment and mounting interfaces.

4.Support senior engineers in validating mechanical tolerances against optical performance requirements.

5.Research material properties (e.g., optical glass, polymers, metals) for lens mounts and fiber enclosures.

6.Assist in selecting coatings (e.g., anti-reflection, protective) and surface treatments for optical surfaces.
