The Mechanical Engineer Specialist provides direct output support to the Head of Asset Management in the Africa Business Unit Technical team– in managing the provision of Mechanical Engineering support to enable maximum value from AngloGold Ashanti’s assets. The role is the discipline expert and is custodian of all matters relating to Processing Plants, Underground Operations, Open Pit operations, Infrastructure associated with processing and underground. The role excludes HME.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide input into the development of the overall Asset Management Strategy and to serve as the discipline master to the regions in the roll-out of the strategy within the mining operations.
