Mechanical Designer Of Space Products - 12 Month Mandate

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer of Space Products for our Satellite systems team in Montreal. The mandate is 12months with the possibility of extension.

Role

As a Mechanical Designer of Space Products, you will work with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop antennas or structures used on state‑of‑the‑art satellites. You will design customized space products for international customers from the bidding phase through detailed definition, ensuring that the final product meets specific requirements and can survive the harsh space environment. Responsibilities include mandating advanced software such as simulation and 3D design tools, supporting mass budgeting, contributing to manufacturing testing, collaborating with international component suppliers, and coordinating all design activities to support project progress.
