Overview

Mechanical Design Engineer – Rail, Highways & Airport Infrastructure — Up to £90K + Car Allowance . The company deliver major infrastructure projects across Rail, Highways, Airports, and Power Stations, and they're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a range of projects from design through to installation, testing, and commissioning.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead mechanical design reviews to ensure buildability, safety, and compliance
• Produce and check mechanical designs for tunnel ventilation, HVAC, and pumped systems
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve technical challenges
• Ensure all systems meet HSE, quality, programme, and regulatory standards
• Support commissioning and testing activities
• Work in a hybrid mix of site-based and design office environments
