Work schedule: 12‑hour rotating continental shifts (days and nights). 100% on‑site at the Windsor, Ontario site.
Position Summary
The Mechanic – Millwright 433A reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and performs assigned and routine maintenance on all production and supporting equipment within the facility, as well as on the facility itself. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and providing mechanical support across all equipment.
The Role
- Assemble, disassemble, install, repair, fabricate and maintain machinery, equipment and spare parts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and correct them in accordance with technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production and facilities equipment, including lubrication.
- Perform daily fill of mineral oil and silicone pressure tank and pump out used mineral oil from the pit tank.
- Lap equipment as required.
