The Perinatal Center in Knoxville provides prenatal care in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners for patients requiring MFM supervision. MFMs have the option to participate directly in deliveries or coordinate with one of the 12 OB/GYNs affiliated with the practice. The group also provides consultative and perinatal ultrasound services for community OB/GYN physicians at the main office and satellite offices located at several regional healthcare facilities. Maternal transport services at five area hospitals are supervised by the group. The team partners closely with East Tennessee Children Äôs Hospital, located nearby, to provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.
