Job Responsibilities
Analyze MRP/ERP reports daily to identify net material requirements, review action messages and release purchase requisitionsRelease of purchase requisitions to fulfill demand forecasts and master production schedule.Provide daily shortage visibility and impact analysis to Production Planner, Operations LeadersCreate and maintain all “intercompany” purchase orders, maintain daily communication with intercompany counterpartsSupport, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the companySupport Kanban or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs where applicableReview/Analyze cycle count reports from warehouse team to highlight any critical components variances that will impact productionCollaborate with procurement to expedite or defer orders proactively based on changes to production schedulesMonitor actual material costs incurred to date ...
