MATERIALS HANDLER (FORKLIFT OPERATOR) LEADER

Summary About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Materials Handler (Fork Lift Operator) Leader over a team of Local National and US Citizen employees. *** LOCAL COMMUTING AREA PREFERED; NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PCS, NOT ELIGIBLE FOR LIVING QUARTERS ALLOWANCE. Responsibilities Passes on instructions received from supervisor to other employees, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led). Checks work in progress and when finished, checks for compliance with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines. Performs a wide range of technical duties supporting the receiving, storing, selecting and shipping of stocked merchandise.
