MATERIALS EXAMINER & IDENTIFIER

Summary You will serve as a MATERIAL EXAMINER & IDENTIFIER in the Aviation Support Department of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF. Responsibilities You will pack and/or preserve a wide variety of equipment, parts, tools, materials, and other items. You will use packing and/or preservation materials and packing techniques such as electro-sensitive discharge, and item fast packs, special purpose and multi-application reusable containers to protect sensitive equipment and parts. You will determine the type of protection required to ensure undamaged shipment and storage of items to local, nationwide, or overseas locations based on agency, Federal, international, and other applicable shipping regulations. You will protect material and equipment during storage and shipment, cleaning and preserving a variety of items using chemicals, solvents, preservatives, drying techniques, vacuum equipment, heat sealing machines, etc. You will unload incoming shipments, using common hand tools and materi...
