Material Planner – ABB

• Responsible for finished goods planning for warehouse replenishment: work with feeder factories and/or external suppliers to achieve customer fulfillment while maintaining inventory levels to business targets.
• Executes procurement cycle: ensure adequate purchase requisitions to purchase order conversion and vendor invoicing; root cause as needed for problem resolutions.
• Maintains planning parameters' alignment (lead times, safety stock, etc.) for material availability to desired service levels and partners with demand planning for forecast changes/adjustments.
• Performs inventory sanity checks, analyses of short, excess and obsolete/aging inventory; determines and takes appropriate actions for optimizing inventory performance.
• Collaborates with sales, marketing, product management, feeder factories and/or external suppliers to drive improvements.
