Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Installs, maintains, and repairs university locking systems

+ Completes project requests and estimates project costs for locking systems. Meets with requestors and vendors to research locking systems and develops recommendations for solutions. Completes and/or coordinates installations

+ Meets with stakeholders during building construction to map out the core codes needed for new or renovated buildings

+ Maintains keying records and systems

+ Maintains material/shop inventory, including ordering materials using the purchase requisition system

+ Provides immediate, on-call response as requested for building related maintenance emergencies

+ Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

+ Knowledge of mechanical and electronic locking systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
