Masonry Worker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Masonry Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining structures made of brick, block, stone and other masonry materials. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical plans and instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and repair walls, foundations, walkways, chimneys and other structures using bricks, blocks and stones.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using levels, rulers, and plumb lines.
• Mix and apply mortar, grout and other bonding agents.
• Cut, shape and dress stone or bricks to required dimensions using hand or power tools.
• Ensure alignment, spacing and leveling of materials during installation.
• Clean excess mortar or grout from work surfaces.
