Founded in April 2024 as a joint venture between InterGlobe Enterprises — the parent company of IndiGo, India's largest airline — and Assago, AionOS was co-founded by CP Gurnani, former CEO of Tech Mahindra, and Rahul Bhatia, Group Managing Director of InterGlobe Enterprises.
