AWS Marketing is seeking a strategic, technically proficient, and customer-embedded Marketing Technology & Operations Manager to support the Events, Sports, and Sponsorship (ESS) team. Modeled after the Forward Deployed Engineer concept, this role is designed to be deeply embedded with ESS sub-teams — sitting alongside stakeholders to understand their workflows firsthand and identify/build custom solutions that solve real operational problems.
This role is responsible for managing cross-functional operational programs including application security compliance, ESS’ marketing technology strategy and administration, digital asset management, and workflow automation — all with a focus on being AI-native wherever possible. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, can manage multiple concurrent workstreams, and is passionate about building scalable processes that are simplified and automated.
