The Role
As a Marine Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing inboard and outboard engines.
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults on a range of marine engines and onboard systems.
* Installing, commissioning and maintaining marine equipment.
* Carrying out sea trials following repairs where required (training can be provided if necessary).
* Working both within the workshop and at local customer locations.
* Liaising with customers and colleagues to provide technical advice and updates on repairs.
* Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
* Keeping up to date with new products, equipment and manufacturer training.
* Working safely at all times and following all company Health & Safety procedures.
