Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will provide process and equipment expertise within an automotive engine manufacturing plant and be responsible for ensuring that production is always maintained by supporting any issues related to the production process and equipment (secondary ops, not machining). This is within a busy environment manufacturing engine components for niche automotive customers, to extremely high quality standards. You will also define new production processes, and specify equipment as well as specify for procurement and overseeing machines and equipment that support this production. Additional responsibilities will include defining process routes and operations, production area layouts and the continual review of operations to seek improvements to both processes and equipment. In the event of problems with production or downtime, you will provide support to ensure they are resolved swiftly to resume operations.
