Manufacturing Process Engineer – Machining

The Manufacturing Process Engineer Machined Components is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining machining and allied manufacturing processes across supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process Development & Optimization Develop, document, and release machining process plans, operation sheets, and control plans for new and existing components. Define cutting parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut) and tooling strategies to optimize cycle time, tool life, and surface finish Evaluate and qualify cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and coolant systems from domestic and global tooling suppliers Drive OEE improvement, and cost-per-piece reduction. Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and visual work instructions in English and Tamil as applicable. CNC Programming & Tooling Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Master cam, Siemens NX CAM, EdgeCAM or equivalent) for turning, milling, and mill-turn centers.
