Manufacturing Engineer Sr

**Description:** The Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations Team is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support production at the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, LA! The role will require you to be organized with excellent attention-to-detail and a self-starting approach to work activities. In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following work tasks:
- Write, maintain, and redline process/work instructions for the manufacture of structures, fabrication of composites, and application of thermal protection systems.
- Work with Production team daily to ensure manufacturing processes are appropriate and any obstacles removed.
- Collaborate with planning team and production leadership to ensure schedule and priority alignment
- Support Quality Engineering in root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related defects and ensure any follow-on direction is properly documented in work instructions.
