Job Description Summary
The Production Quality Manufacturing Engineer leads the manufacturing cell in aspects of quality assurance & control and is responsible for the quality KPIs of the cell. This role reports directly to the site's Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Build-in-Quality (PFMEA, MSA) Champion for the cell
- Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) for the cell
- Daily review of non-conformances, defect rates monitoring for required short term, medium term and long term actions.
- Lead and drive problem solving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and effective implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions
- Facilitate Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) to meet cell's SQDC KPIs
- Drive initiatives to reduce defect rates
- Owner of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) issues and events in the cell
- Resolution of customer's quality complaints related to cell's products
