Manager, Wholesale Credit (Credit Evaluation)

Overview

The Credit Evaluation Manager is responsible for the credit risk management of the corporate and commercial loans portfolio. The successful candidate will also lead and coach credit and marketing personnel, to build a strong credit culture while balancing risk reward with governance and ensuring efficient delivery. This role reports to the Head, Wholesale Credit (Credit Evaluation Department).

Responsibilities

• Manage credit risk-taking in the portfolio/region, including evaluating and approving credit within discretionary powers and within SLA.
• Exercise general oversight over banks' credit policies (local and overseas), procedures and controls for all credit risks including those arising from corporate banking, treasury, credit cards, personal banking, trade finance, securities processing and financial institutions.
