Job Overview

The WMCC-VTS Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the WMCC-VTS centre. The role involves managing WMCC-VTS operations to ensure that current rules, regulations and legislation are followed, developing, maintaining and reviewing management standards, ensuring all operators are trained and qualified in compliance with Abu Dhabi Ports Safety and Quality Management Systems, and planning, maintaining and developing emergency procedures. The Manager records and prepares evidence in response to incidents or accidents within the waterways area of responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage WMCC-VTS operations to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, legislation and safety quality systems.


• Develop, maintain and review management standards.


• Ensure all WMCC-VTS operators are trained and qualified according to safety and quality management systems.
