Summary You will serve as a MANAGER in the Code 85B, Undersea Warfare Weapons, Vehicles, and Defensive Systems Deputy Department Head OR Code 75B Ocean Science, Autonomous Systems, and Ranges Deputy Department Head of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the administrative and technical management of a large work force, consisting mainly of engineering and technician employees and subordinate supervisors You will coordinate/integrate the work of lower organizational units, identify where corrective action is needed and provide assistance/advice to lower-level supervisors and department personnel where problems exist or are developing.
