Manager, Insurance Supervision

Consistent with the Dubai Financial Services Authority’s (DFSA) strategic and business objectives, and with the DFSA Board of Director’s statement of risk tolerance, the Manager contributes to the effective and efficient risk-based supervision of the activities of reinsurers, captives, insurance intermediaries and insurance managers/underwriters conducted in and from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

A Manager, Insurance Supervision, will primarily spend their time in supervising regulated entities in the DIFC, both pool- and relationship-managed Authorised Firms, and will contribute to the work of the Insurance Supervision Team. Allocated workstreams will vary in term of impact and complexity.

• Gather, organise and analyse data for Authorised Firms and industry to enable risk-based and proportionate supervision.
