Manager for HDSB Facility Services

Become the driving force behind HDSB’s Facility Services as the Manager. Responsible for maintaining safe and compliant operation of facilities through effective team management.
This role demands your expertise in overseeing a broad network of school facilities' maintenance, cleaning, and service contracts. Engage with varied partners, implement service standards, and play a pivotal role in our Multi-Year Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and monitor facility cleaning and maintenance standards
• Evaluate performance and manage safety service contracts
• Recruit and mentor custodial and supervisory staff
• Supervise operational needs across over 600 acres
• Create budget plans and manage talent resources
Requirements:
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in facility management
• Diploma or Bachelor’s in related fields preferred
• Solid experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments
