Join Emera’s Corporate External Reporting team as a key contributor to financial reporting. This permanent role entails drafting and reviewing MD&A and financial statements, managing internal controls, and leading disclosure research. Effective communication with stakeholders is vital, alongside a solid grasp of financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and complete MD&A and Financial Statements accurately
• Ensure SOX compliance for financial reporting controls
• Lead research projects on financial disclosures
• Review external reports and Investor Relations materials
• Manage the financial reporting software and XBRL requirements
Requirements:
• CPA or equivalent with a relevant post-secondary degree
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting
