Manager-Data Platforms

This position requires in-person collaboration up to five days a week. This arrangement is subject to change based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Technology & Operations
  • Own, drive and implement our technology roadmap for data platforms at WestJet, adhering to IT Architecture standards & practices.
  • Maintain on-premises & cloud infrastructure for our data platforms, including PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Dagster, Snowflake Cortex and Streamlit.
• Security & Governance
  • Oversee data connectivity, security configuration, and access controls across our data platforms.
  • Design and implement guardrails to protect platform costs, governance and performance at scale.
  • Support IT Security & Governance initiatives while managing impacts/limitations to user functionality.
