Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) is a cluster of NParks that safeguards the health and welfare of animals through comprehensive programmes and partnerships with the veterinary and animal‑related industries. AVS is the primary touch‑point on animal and veterinary matters in Singapore and the first responder to all animal‑related feedback. It also conducts public education and engagement programmes to foster a society where pet owners, communities and animals coexist in our City in Nature.

• Conduct fieldwork to collect population and demographic data on free‑roaming dog and cat populations through population surveys.
• Use data analysis tools to analyse, map and communicate collected data with key stakeholders.
• Work closely with a small research team to carry out other research tasks related to community animals.
