Manager, Adult Programs

Overview

The Manager, Adult Programs reports to the Director, Advanced Education and is responsible for ensuring that all educational initiatives are consistent with departmental philosophies, values and beliefs expressed through Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit and other departmental strategic documents. The Manager is accountable for leadership and direction required for the development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the Pathways to Adult Secondary School (PASS) Diploma Program and programs designed to enhance adult literacy in English and Inuktitut on behalf of the department. The Manager works closely with divisional staff to develop, implement and monitor adult education programs and services to enhance educational achievement and labor market participation in Nunavut.
