Responsibilities The position is organizationally located in the Bureau of Prison (BOP), Health Services Division (HSD), Operations Branch, Financial Management Section. Involved in policy development and analysis, development of divisional planning, goals, and objectives, analysis of effectiveness, and efficiency of various divisional programs. Develops program needs based on data obtained from various programmatic areas including pilot studies, Federal resource sharing and medical contracting. Involved in divisional functions required for program review analysis (i.e., strategic planning, management assessment, and program analysis) and in the development of national health care and operational policies, manuals, and program statements.
