Summary The position serves as a Management Analyst in the Office of the Director. Develops recommendations for program officials and supervisors and strives to have viable recommendations accepted by operating components. Recommendations include development of new or modified work methods, procedural changes, systems variations, and acceptance of new technology developments. Responsibilities Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Reviews and studies laws, VA administrative issues and special instructions to determine their effect on organizational alignment, work methods and procedures, application of work measurement, work simplifications, documentation of essential records, and flow of communications to determine the need for new or revised local policies, procedures or controls, and to coordinate these determinations with operation officials concerned.
