Maintenance Supervisor

Summary This position is located at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. Responsibilities Serves as the Maintenance Supervisor for the Facilities Maintenance Section at Riverside National Cemetery. Directs the day-to-day maintenance and repair functions for the buildings and grounds of RNC. Activities of this section include maintenance and repair of buildings, fences, roads, sidewalks, parking lots, equipment, vehicles, and plumbing. The incumbent exercises full supervisory responsibility over assigned Wage Grade (WG) employees, a Wage Grade Leader (WL), and a Program Support Assistant (GS). Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and reviewing work; establishing performance standards; evaluating employee performance; approving leave; identifying training needs; and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary.
