MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I

Summary You will serve as a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates. You will establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules and methods and policies established by higher levels of supervision. You will be responsible for assuring that schedules are met, resources are coordinated and the distribution of workload is balanced to provide optimum operational cost and performance at maximum customer satisfaction. You will be required to provide a cost estimate, completion date and give technical (consulting) assistance as required. You will coordinate pre-construction actions with other departments. You will evaluate working conditions in all work areas supervised, addressing occupational hazards in shops and work sites.
