Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all facility machinery and equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role focuses on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with the goal of minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair machinery to ensure safe and proper operation.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools to reduce downtime.
Build, repair, and maintain gearboxes.
Communicate effectively with suppliers by understanding parts, components, and specifications.
Order and manage replacement parts when necessary to maintain machine functionality.
