Maintenance Mechanic

Under general supervision of the Maintenance Foreman, performs preventative maintenance, operational functions and repairs to building systems, utilities and industrial machinery in strict accordance with established safety practices procedures. Knowledge of major systems listed below:

+ Steam systems
+ Boiler or Combined Heat and Power Plant maintenance
+ Compressed air systems
+ Plumbing systems / underground piping
+ Electrical systems up to and including 480 volts, emergency generators, and UPS equipment
+ Steam driven mechanical equipment

**Position Requirements**

+ Minimum two years of technical school training or equivalent in an industrial maintenance program and three years of professional industrial maintenance experience in two or more of the above categories, or
+ Minimum five years of professional experience in industrial maintenance with expertise in two or more of the above categories.
