**Job Description**
The Maintenance Mechanic supports daily production by responding to equipment breakdowns and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in a wood pallet manufacturing environment, following OEM manuals and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and support operational goals.

**Responsibilities**

+ Respond to daily production needs and equipment breakdowns to support operational goals and minimize downtime.
+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on all machinery and production equipment, including saws and related systems.
+ Maintain equipment in accordance with OEM manuals and established preventive maintenance programs.
+ Troubleshoot and repair motors, belts, chains, gears, bearings, hydraulics, and other mechanical components.
