Maintenance Manager Position

Our client, a Fruit Farm in Swellendam/Robertson area, Western Cape, has an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join their team. The Maintenance Manager is expected to lead the Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facility’s infrastructure. Plan and oversee all aspects of the day-to-day running of an allocated workshop and team.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Plan, prioritize, schedule and oversee maintenance duties according to best practices.
2. Regular communication with General Managers regarding requirements, planning and progress.
3. Increase the operational effectiveness, equipment availability and life cycle cost of machinery and equipment through preventative maintenance.
