Maintenance Manager (Forklift/ Heavy Machinery)

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring efficient service delivery across all customer sites. Supervise, coach, and develop a team of technicians, artisans, apprentices, and support staff to drive performance and accountability. Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance, repair, and service activities to maximise productivity and minimise downtime. Monitor departmental financial performance, including budgets, labour recovery, profitability, and cost control initiatives. Manage maintenance contracts, ensuring SLA compliance, customer satisfaction, and contract profitability. Oversee work-in-progress (WIP), backlog management, job costing, invoicing, and timely job completion. Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM standards, ISO, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
