Key Responsibilities
Lead the maintenance department and provide hands-on technical leadership.
Manage preventative and planned maintenance programmes.
Coordinate breakdown response and root cause analysis.
Oversee boilers, steam systems, pumps, conveyors and processing equipment.
Manage artisans, maintenance assistants and technical specialists.
Control engineering stores, spare parts and maintenance budgets.
Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and engineering standards.
Drive plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Requirements
Red Seal Millwright qualification (essential).
Minimum 7 years' maintenance experience within heavy industrial, food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
At least 3 years' experience leading a maintenance team.
Strong experience with preventative maintenance systems.
