Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Manawatŋ team and help deliver good work across the network. This is a hands‑on role with real impact. You’ll plan, programme and coordinate maintenance activities, work closely with crews, clients and subcontractors, and help keep delivery sharp across safety, quality and performance. You’ll bring solid RAMM capability and maintenance contract experience, along with the confidence to step in, take ownership and keep things moving. This role also supports the Department Manager with day‑to‑day operational delivery, contract management and forward works planning.

Key role responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to support safe, efficient and on‑time delivery across the network.
• Produce accurate maintenance programmes in RAMM and help integrate routine maintenance with renewals planning.
