Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Duties

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on farm equipment and facilities.
• Assist with electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, pumps, motors, ventilation systems, and other farm equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and effectively.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good working order.
• Assist with general repairs, plumbing, welding, and other maintenance tasks as required.

Farm Duties

• Assist with the daily operations of the Farrow-to-Wean unit.
• Support animal care activities, including feeding, monitoring animal health, and maintaining cleanliness of facilities.
• Assist with the movement and handling of pigs when required.
