Maintenance Assistant (Electrical & Farm Operations) - N2P

Key Responsibilities Maintenance Duties Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on farm equipment and facilities. Assist with electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, pumps, motors, ventilation systems, and other farm equipment. Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and effectively. Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good working order. Assist with general repairs, plumbing, welding, and other maintenance tasks as required. Farm Duties Assist with the daily operations of the Farrow-to-Wean unit. Support animal care activities, including feeding, monitoring animal health, and maintaining cleanliness of facilities. Assist with the movement and handling of pigs when required. Ensure biosecurity and hygiene protocols are adhered to at all times. Support the farm management team during busy operational periods.
