Role Overview

As a Mainframe Storage Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and secure storage management within our z/OS environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer IBM DS8000 storage systems and ensure high availability.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies using GDPS.
• Plan future storage capacity and performance needs.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with security protocols.
• Collaborate with Mainframe and cross‑functional IT teams.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

• Extensive hands‑on experience with IBM DS8000.
• Proven expertise in GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex).
