Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on knitting machines.
- Complete style changes and machine set ups according to specification sheets.
- Repair/replace machine parts as required.
- Perform any quality related measurements or checks as required.
- Record machine down time with Supervisor.
- Assist Knitters to keep machines running.
- Ensure machines are producing first quality fabric.
- Maintain yarn tensions utilizing various feeders to ensure consistent fabric appearance.
- Understand yarn counts and types.
- Provide reports on spare parts, broken items, and any issues concerning production.
- Record defect repairs on knitting production ticket.
- Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
