Machine shop supervisor

Minimum Requirements Qualified Artisan Trade Test (Fitter & Turner, Toolmaker, Turner/Machinist, Millwright, Fitter, Boilermaker or similar). N4–N6 Mechanical Engineering advantageous. 8+ years' experience in a machine shop or heavy engineering environment. 3+ years' supervisory experience leading artisans or machinists. Strong machine build, repair, refurbishment and maintenance experience. Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances. Experience in heavy manufacturing, steel, mining or industrial engineering preferred. Knowledge of preventative maintenance, job card systems and ISO standards
