Description
Wheeler Machinery is seeking to hire a Shop Helper at their Salt Lake City location. This full-time Monday through Friday position will be responsible for shipping and receiving parts/materials in their Salt Lake City, UT location as well as cleaning, organizing, and supporting machine shop personnel in all aspects of the business. This position is expected to keep Safety First in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Work Safely, without incidents
+ Always keep a safety mindset
+ This job requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, twisting, lifting heavy material, and lots of physical movement
+ Loading and unloading materials
+ Shipping and receiving of parts/materials
+ Will need to operate forklift
+ Cleaning the shop, maintenance duties, ability to learn machines.
