**Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on operating large hose cutting machines to produce high-quality hoses according to precise measurements and production targets. You will monitor automated equipment, verify measurements, and assemble couplings by hand while using scanners and computers to ensure each job runs accurately and efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate one of the two larger hose cutting machines and ensure they run safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
+ Scan barcodes and use computers and scanners to confirm that the correct job, program, and measurements are running on the machine.
+ Check hose measurements for accuracy using a tape measure and verify that all cuts meet specified lengths.
+ Manually install couplings on hoses after they are cut to the proper length, ensuring a secure and accurate fit.
