They research new algorithms and techniques to be used in congested and chaotic RF environments and develop subsequent proof-of-concepts. While there is an academic feel to the work it has real-world impact as your discoveries are further developed and deployed by other teams.

The overriding objective of this team is to ensure the continued security and defence of the UK and UK personnel both at home and overseas. Your research will therefore be focused on detection and exploitation of RF signals including both protection measures and offensive capabilities. You will need to be eligible and willing to undergo SC security clearance checks. This typically means you need to be a UK citizen.
