Job Summary:
- Under the direction of a registered nurse or physician and under assigned administrative supervision, provides care within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
- Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Follows patient identification procedures, provides appropriate information for all patient procedures, and collects and handles specimens.
- Assesses and implements prescribed interventions for the patient.
- Implements and documents discharge plan for each patient.
- Recognizes that ethical/legal/medical dilemmas exist...
